How often should I mail to my direct mail list

Good Day My BP Padreas, 

I just bought my first direct mail list. YAY!!!! Im on my way. My question is how oten should you mail to owners without appearing annoying or harassing? Once a month? Every 6 weeks? 

I would really appreciate your feedback.
