Yellow letters cheap and easy!

Hello BPers!

We have been sending direct mail (yellow letters) for about 4 months now (to the same list of 800 people - 200 per week and repeat) and our response has been phenomenal! Being completely new in real estate investing we were shocked at all of the people calling us and realized we love direct mail BUT HANDWRITING yellow letters is inefficient and not scale-able.

I personally wrote the first 200 letters and then paid someone 25 cents per letter to write them. She quit shortly thereafter (can you say hand cramps) and we have been through 2 more people since then who were all gung-ho at first and then quit or fell behind (because it really sucks to write letters).

SO, I was trying to think of ways to make the letters unique (not buying a font or using a free font because they can look fake) and I came up with THIS solution...

I took a piece of blank white computer paper and laid it over a yellow legal pad (lined) and wrote in permanent marker on the blank white copy. I then placed the handwritten white letter in the copy machine and placed the yellow lined paper in the tray and pressed "copy". It turned out PERFECT. It TOTALLY looks completely handwritten and you don't have to worry about getting a font and lining up the lines when printing.

Anywhoo, I just thought this could be super helpful to people struggling with how to write a million yellow letters without having their hand amputated.
