For a while I've been studying the use of social networks for the purpose of marketing, and realized that many people are just doing it wrong.

You can't just build a profile and expect to get any benefit from it at all. You need to work hard, participate in the community, interact, and get out there. The problem is that there isn't enough time in the day to do it on dozens of sites, as many experts recommend you do.
