Do yellow letters work too if someone plans to buy and hold a property. Totally new to this info. Your help will be useful.

Usually you either have cash ready or have someone who provides the cash.  I don't see why yellow letters shouldn't work to find a buy and hold property but you need to plan ahead. Many homes that you will find through those campaigns are distressed so conventional financing won't work on those properties. There are other ways to come up with cash. Helocs or cash out refi of your primary residence or private money from other investors, friends, family....
