How do you conduct a drip campaign effectively?

I am looking to do it with my code violation and start off with a yellow letter type mailing first, then do a postcard 4 weeks later, and continue doing postcards every 6-8 weeks.

I wanted to do this with my code marketing and NOO properties.
Any input or tips on effectively doing these types of mailings.?
