Direct Mail Super Drop!

We currently run a direct mail campaign over 6 months consisting of 6 different letters sent out 1 per month to each lead.  I just recently went full time as an investor and we want to ramp up our lead generation.  We are planning 1 large mail drop that covers all the good areas within our city.  This would cost an additional $2500 on top of our $1500 we already spend on our 6 month campaign.  We would use a more aggressive message as this will be a 1 time drop.

Has anyone attempted this strategy before and if so please share!
