Probate Leads - Austin, TX

Has anyone in the greater Austin area had success with generating Travis County probate leads? I contacted the Travis County probate court to ask about getting information on decedents and personal representatives, and they responded that they cannot give out such information.

I'm curious to know how other Austin investors are pursuing these leads. Can you go to the courthouse and review records? Do you purchase leads from a third party like US Probate Leads? I appreciate any assistance that anyone can offer.
