Tenants bringing in vicious animals after lease is signed

Alex Marz
Posted

Vicious guard dogs, verbally abusing other tenants, with intent to do bodily harm. All animals are allowed in the lease. LL was not aware dog was so vicious, or was he? LL did not properly screen pets and could not because tenants snuck the vicious dog in after telling LL it was very friendly. Legally, what is LL's role in dealing with loud, aggressive, nuisance, guard dogs, with intent to harm others, when tenants complain?
