Journaling to start investing journey

Hello all, Daniel Reach here. I'm located in Opelika, AL. I am super green in this world. And very excited to begin this journey. I'm in my learning phase and eager to be a sponge. I like to gather notes, info, and wisdom in anything I do before I take my leap. I am looking to journal some of the more important and/or common things. I have already started with the basics of what terms mean, different investing paths, some local agents names and contact, and details along those lines. What I'm looking for with this post are the things the newbies don't always consider and/or common made mistakes in the beginning. Things a pro still reminds himself of on new properties he is acquiring. Looking forward to meeting ppl and networking here!!
