Realtytrac.com Accuracy

I was looking on realtytrac.com for foreclosures and metrics in my area.  I tapped on the crime stats and the crime stats listed were for a city that was NOT our city but instead a city that has a notoriiously high crime rate. However, they are being interlinked to our city.

Knowing this, I now find myself questioning the validity of all the information from the site.

Can anyone here please give me some insight into the validity of the stats and information on this site and that of others as well.
