Investment Info:

Condo buy & hold investment in Atlantic City.

Purchase price: $130,000
Cash invested: $130,000

This is my parents' secondary home. Whenever I visit, which is often these days, I make small improvements--nothing structural. The biggest projects were recessing a medicine cabinet, replacing old transformers under cabinet lights, replacing the old carpet in bedrooms with French Oak planks, replaced dated light fixtures in every room, and making the entire home automated and smart (Alexa enabled climate control, blinds, lights, TV, etc.)

How did you add value to the deal?

Small cosmetic renovations and replacing most of the flooring.

Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

Weichart Realtors - Asbury Group
