Extra wood flooring used to accent ceiling

Have a little extra flooring and don't know what to do with it? Try putting it on the ceiling! This is from a house we recently rehabbed. We had a box or two of extra prefinished wood flooring that wasn't enough to do a complete room. It was a perfect accent to this kitchen though. Coffered ceilings trimmed in white with white cabinets contrasted great with the dark ceiling. The light fixture made everything pop perfectly. Instead of wasting the extra flooring, it became one of the best parts of this project. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
