Real Estate Investing around Philadelphia

Hi I have been following the bigger pocket podcasts and they have really helped with alot of questions I had regarding investing in single family homes. I am close to buying my first rental property in North East Philadelphia area.

I am mainly interested in looking out for rentals but i am confused as to what my next step should be. Is rentals the way to go? Will they have good returns or should I look more into commercial real estate. I am really new at this and very confused. Any help at this point would really be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi @Sukrita Kejriwal Glad to have you here on BP. But as far as sticking with rentals, that is a question best left to you. Everyone has there own opinion on the subject, and even that opinion may change if an investors strategy changes.

My suggestion is to find the best deals for you and seek advice when needed. I feel strongly about buy and hold investments, but I am also seeking a fix and flip.

See ya around
