I have had difficulty finding deals that fit the criteria for buy and hold that will cash flow.  This is a metaphoric story for how i feel. Maybe others feel this way too.

We just have to keep looking or get educated about finding better ways to find deals.   " i feel like looking for that next deal is like panning for gold". There seems to always be someone upstream with a bigger pan.

Actually, there are many others upstream. I have got to find that river where i can be first in the stream. I am trying to find that one gold nugget that millions of others are also searching for. The MLS stream is very full. The foreclosure stream has a guy (banker) giving preferential spots. I just have to learn to be a bigger fish or better panner in the stream. I hope that i will find another cash flow nugget. I also have to know the different ways a gold nugget can shine or how it might first look like a rock. Although ,my grandfather used to show me a rock that looked like gold. He said no thats what they call fools gold.

I have to be smart enough to recognize the difference.   Sometimes a deal looks good until you run numbers and sometimes you are quick enough to get the one that works.

I just thought i would share.
