Hey guys. Looked at a raised ranch 4bed 2bath house in Beacon, New York. It's 2,350 sqft and corner lot. Needs minor work such as flooring, paint and kitchen remodel. Has finished basement with minor repairs. House was listed as an estate sale for $220k. Then they dropped it to $205k. I offered $150k which they accepted with 30 day closing. Taxes on the property are about $6600. Comps in the area for similar houses range from 250-275k. Anyone has any experience in the Hudson valley region that can tell me whether it's a good deal? Still have to get rehab costs which I hope to get by next week. Also good for a flip or keep as rental? Thanks
