"Easy" isn't always intentional.

"Yeah, good luck with that. It's not as easy as they make it look on TV."

This piece of advice came from my so-called "landlord" who lives on the other end of our mobile home and had dreams of becoming a video game developer in California making $100,000 a year before he dropped out of college and took a $10 an hour job fixing copy machines with no further planning for his life. I just looked at him with a blank face and responded with, "... and?"

Can you relate to having heard something like this when you were first starting out and then proved you could have the better things in life even if it wasn't "easy"?

He's right - it isn't easy. The exact reason he never followed through with his simple plan for life. Your determination is the key to your success. Your plan/strategy may change along the way but your determination is what makes it look easy to those on the outside.

Good luck!
