Executor and Shareholder of Inheritance Property
The other owners want to sell their single family dwelling and divide the shares. As Executor, I want to buy them out and keep the house (which they are fine with as well). Now, let's assume I cannot normally get credit (ok...more than an assumption) and the inherited property is fully paid for.
Question: Can I re-mortgage or secure a line of credit using the property as collateral by turning it into an income/rental property?
(Fyi, the property is in a great location for rental properties.)
