Home inspection cost for a quad

Hello BP! I've been a long time lurker on the forums, as well as listener to the podcasts. I love all the advice on here and I've found it a wonderful resource for an aspiring investor like myself. Anyway, my offer for my first property, a four plex, was just accepted today and I am trying to set up an inspection. I was quoted $700. Does this sound right to anyone? I know the same inspector charges $400 for SF, which I know is about the norm around here (Tallahassee, FL). He is very good, as he came recommended and I've also used him before for my personal home inspection. Thanks in advance for any assistance, and I look forward to posting more in the future.

Hi Michael, the easiest way you can find out the price of the inspection and what's included into the report is go to http://www.homeinspector.org/ and find several inspectors in your area. After talking to them about your needs and what they are offering, you will form the most educated opinion.

Good luck.
