This purchase was pursued as a personal residence which then opened my eyes into the possibilities in Real Estate.

I found Blackthorne in the Public Listing Services, and wasn't involved in this negotiation directly as of yet.

I acquired a very unfavorable ARM to get me in the space.

The lesson was an eye opening experience that fueled an addiction to learning everything possible in Real Estate.

I worked with my good friend KC Dorame, then an agent at Douglas Elliman. We later partnered on several investments and co-founded Allure Capital Management in 2021. KC now runs Daimyo Capital Partners, a respected investment firm. I’ve since launched The FJO Group, a residential and commercial brokerage, and EMET Holdings, a real estate syndication and investment firm.
