I'm curious about people's experiences investing in Auburn, New York... I'm in contact with a seller in the area (I'd also gladly take agent or property manager recommendations) and am trying to learn more about the market there.

No idea what your investment thesis may be, but I would consider heading a few miles east and taking a look at Skaneateles.
