Las Vegas Rental Market

A question for people active in the Las Vegas market - I was wondering what you have been seeing in terms of recent rents relative to rents 6 months ago. I'm trying to get a feel for the trend.

I purchased a couple of rentals in the northwest area of Las Vegas in the spring of this year. I got those spruced up and rented and now am starting to look again. It looks like the inventory has gone down even more and prices have been moving up, and I want to make sure the numbers are still favorable.

Thanks for your insights!

Kevin

While I agree the rental market has softened, the picture painted in the previous post is at the extreme end of things. Most of the tenants in the houses I manage are great. I have to sift through lots of applications to get there, but there are good tenants in Vegas just like any other city.
