I am looking to gain some insight and knowledge into the rental property investment world and I am offering my helping hand in grunt work that needs to be done in the RHODE ISLAND / SOUTHERN MASSACHUSETTS area. I am a hard worker and I am just looking to meet experienced people!

In case no one takes you up on it, for meeting experienced people in general I'd recommend networking at local real estate groups - I know of ones that meet in Warwick RI, Burlington and Worcester Mass, and Fall River, and I also know there are others beyond those.

It seems like your offer may be an indirect way of trying to find a mentor. If that's ultimately your goal, there have been many threads about finding a mentor here on Bigger Pockets and it's also covered in the BP Ultimate Beginner's Guide to Real Estate Investing.

Aside from that, the one thing every real estate investor needs more of, is deals. So you might find that you get a better response to connecting with experienced people if you're able to use your hard working qualities to find a deal, or at least some promising leads (e.g., vacant houses in your area that you've researched and confirmed have equity).

But like I said, you can also just go to local investment groups and ask people out to coffee.

I'd recommend asking people of all levels by the way, not just "experienced" people. You'd be amazed at what you can learn from fellow beginners who are also hard working and getting started, and one powerful technique I frequently recommend is that people form a small group of folks at roughly their same level with the express purpose of meeting regularly and helping each other out, which you can read more about under the concept called mastermind group.
