BEST Painting Business in Santa Barbara;
Hey Bp! It has been quite some time since I have hopped on Bigger Pockets as I have been pursuing my ventures finally instead of just talking about them. I actually have recently closed on a few properties on the east coast back home and assigned contracts to investors. Thanks to bigger pockets I have been able to make these things happen so a big thanks goes out to the BP community!
Aside from wholesale deals I have also began an internship with college works painting and I am about to begin marketing in the Santa Barbara Mesa next to the city college. I have been trained on how to run my own business and I plan to market for this spring and start production in the summer around may. I plan to have 3 full painting crews in action so I can maximize my revenue this summer. My district manager is an absolute powerhouse and she did $140,000 in revenue when she was an intern so I'm trying to beat her! I am taking this internship extremely seriously as it will help me develop some great interpersonal sales skills and teach me how to run my own business. It will also give me opportunity to work with property owners who have houses for sale which can lead to deals for me down the road so I am excited for the future.
I was curious to see if anyone in the BP community had any ideas on how to speak to residential home owners about getting there homes painted? And also I was wondering how you savvy investors out there go about finding painting contractors when it comes to rehabbing your flips and properties. I want to implement some top notch marketing strategies to build exposure and get leads.
At the end of the day I am a hardworking college student just trying to support myself, so any advice helps!
