Hello Everybody,

Thinking about getting involved with rental properties in Deland, Fl and Deltona, FL and wondering if anyone had any opinions about the area pro and con, I am out of state in NJ

A few months ago I found a 3/1 with a garage half finished to become a mother in law suite. Bought for $129k

I finished their conversion for double what I allotted (16k) but it still worked out fine. My all in cost was 145k but the combined rents are $1700 a month!
