Boston Area Contractor Recommendations

My wife and I just purchased a two family in the Boston area and need to get some repairs and clean up done to the units before we rent them out. We have been trying to find someone to do the work, but are having a hard time finding people. Anyone with decent reviews on Angies List seems to be to busy to want to do the work. Has anyone had any luck hiring someone in the area to do this sort of thing? Thanks.
