Adding a bathroom to a septic system.
Hi, I'm considering adding a master bed and bath to a 50 year old property that has a septic system (not city sewer). Will I run into problems with permitting and have to increase the size of the septic or the leech field?
Thanks in advance,
Robby

This will vary greatly depending on local regs. First stop, call your local health department or whomever oversees environmental permitting. Hopefully you never enough good dirt to add the new field lines. Good luck.
