Hello - Chicago to Asheville

Hi BP Community in WNC!

My name is Pat Dansdill and my wife and I are moving to the Asheville area from the Chicago suburbs (Maybe you've heard that line before, it seems to be a trend). I'm a teacher, and she works for a mortgage company. I have spoken to a few realtors so far, but I wanted to introduce myself, and eventually be on the lookout for some property management companies, as well as contractors.

I have a rental in the Chicago suburbs, and hope to grow in NC, as well as buying a house hack around Asheville. If you have any recommendations for a GC or management company, feel free to send them my way or just send a message to say hello! I also hope to make it out to any sort of meet up - I'll be on the lookout, but if anyone out there has any info I'd love to hear it, we'll be out there the first week of August, but I wanted to get the ball rolling so to hit the ground running.

Welcome to the area!  We do have a Hendersonville specific CREIA meetup that I host on the last Tuesday of the month at the KW office on Main St in Hendersonville.  We also have a great BP meetup in Asheville, as well.  There are lots of opportunities to network with other local investors.
