Virtual Mailbox? Any recommendations on a service?

Hi there,

I've been researching a virtual mailbox service that can receive then scan in my mail into PDF form.

I'm wanting to be nearly paperless at our business and am to an extent.  I still get some vendors that mail me paper invoices or have our accountant/bookkeeper scan in documents however at this time I outsource my bookkeeping and I'm guessing they despise scanning as much as I do as they normally do not do it and I have to micromanage it to make sure bills get paid timely.  Pisses me off which is why I'm switching bookkeepers and secondly will be likely buying this type of service.

I figured Id have regular bills I know are coming sent to this "virtual" address - not all of our mail - maybe 10-20 pieces of mail a month if that would need to be scanned.

Also does anyone use a receipt scanning service?  I found one called shoebox but seemed kind of expensive.  Other suggestion was keep all records in quickbooks then keep receipts in a folder for record keeping purposes and not worry about scanning them in.

I've thought about hiring admin work in house but I think I'm just too small for it to make sense at this point - I dont know I may change my mind and try to get a part time in house bookkeeper that can run payroll/keep the books but I'm just leery about that until I can afford to pay someone very well in this position and get the best talent I can.

TIA!

Hey @Shane H. How do you like your virtual mailbox company? Is it working out for you and do you recommend them?
