Flo smart water monitoring and control system

This forum description references hardware, so I figured this was a good place to ask if anyone has heard of the Flo water meter (they're still in beta testing). It monitors water flow and can detect leaks based on changes in water pressure (and theoretically shut off the water before a leak causes much damage).

(Full disclosure: I have a small investment in the company through an angel syndicate -- it's the first time my interest in real estate has crossed over into my venture investing!)

I was curious if anyone had experience with similar systems to try and cut off water damage before it happens.
