Cheap Pipeline Spreadsheet/CRM alternative?
Hey BP! I have a little side project that I'd love some feedback on.
I'm putting together a simple pipeline management/deal execution tool via excel for new investors to use and I'd love to get some feedback on it/hear whether that's something people would use. I have a lot of experience with generic CRMs like Salesforce and more Real Estate specific ones like Dealpath, Juniper Square, and DealCloud so I wanted to try to create a tool that new investors could use without shelling out a lot of capital. Getting a CRM feels really overwhelming for someone that's just starting out or maybe has only done a couple of deals, and I'd like to be able to provide a solution that won't require investors to shell out a lot of money upfront/be left to figure it out on their own.
This is an excel tracker, not a bespoke system/CRM. Basic functionality will be a pipeline to track status/stage activity, basic asset information, and submitted offers. It will also have pivot charts and tables for pipeline reporting. This tool will not be for financial modeling, it is only for tracking your deal pipeline and execution.
If you're a new investor I would love to get some feedback on this/hear whether or not its something that you think would be worth using. Feel free to PM me!
