Phone and Text Service

Hoping that I found the right forum for this… We own several SFHs and periodically have to advertise. I have grown fond of an app called Burner that gives me temporary phone numbers so that my personal cell number isn’t being given out far and wide.

We have a self storage facility under contract and it’s the type that is largely full of commercial tenants and doesn’t have a full time manager or office on site. I am looking for a phone/text solution that is good for the long haul. Burner may actually work for this, but I am not sure I am looking for alternatives before something goes on the new sign.

I have a friend who owns several and he’s used Google Voice to have multiple numbers so he knows which property the caller is calling about. He has been looking for a new solution as well. He likes Google Voice but it gets expensive if you have a lot of lines.

Any recommendations from owners or managers?

I just started using TextNow - free number w adverts, or 10 bucks a month without adverts.  Can get and send phone calls, texts - can scroll thru numbers and pick one you want to.  Haven't had it long enough to recommend it - but so far pretty good.
