If one has 'no money' it is an income or an expense problem.  Expenses on the frivolous and unnecessary are pretty much always a factor.

If you are doing what your broke friends are doing, keeping up with the Joneses, go ahead and pay 10% and 10 points.  Not knocking Jeanette, but that's akin to hard money.  We all seem to have forgotten about how over-leveraging decimated 10s of thousands of people a few short years ago.

Brew your own coffee, brown bag your lunch, drive a beater and stay out of malls and clubs while working 2 or 3 jobs.  Sacrifice to change your life people!
