Paid Mentorship

Hi everyone,

Has anyone joined a mentorship program or has paid a mentor to learn specific aspects of real estate investing? I'm new to investing and after I close on our second MFH I wanted to invest in apartment buildings.

I don't have experience with closing this type of deal and figured learning from someone who does this is the obvious route.

I'm not looking for a guru, but a real person who can show me the ropes. What are your experiences with a mentor? Who would be a good person to get in contact with? How would you pay? Through an investment they get a stake or paying cash?

Thanks
