Vegas Seminar thoughts

So an investor in my local area suggested attending this below 3 day seminar in Vegas.

http://themastersofcashflow.com/ - The Masters of Cash Flow | Oct. 2-4, 2015

Honestly alarm bells starting going off immediately. What are the community's thoughts? Many of the speakers have been talked about briefly in other posts but no real break down if they think this is worth the financial and time investment.

The early bird pricing appears to be $597 for an individual.

Can anybody who has actually attended this seminar before speak to any of the specifics?

I do not know if my acquaintance has any connection to this seminar/speakers or not.

I have returned from this event and cannot overstate how completely legitimate and genuine all of the speakers were. I'm a little embarrassed to have ever doubted the initial recommendation. These are active investors who are giving back to the next generation of investors.

@Scott Williams assessment was spot on. These are very seasoned investors and there was zero sales pitch. The speakers are listed below:

Peter Fortunato - Specialty is Deal Structuring and is beyond comparison as an investor and a man of integrity (most inspirational speaker). I will be attending more of his classes.

Clyde Wilson - specializes in mobile homes and has commercial investing experience

Jimmy Napier - not clear on specialty but appears to have done a little of everything (most entertaining speaker -- you just have to experience it to understand)

Jay Decima - specializes in small multi-family and clusters of single families (investing that most aligns with my current focus)

Dyches Boddiford - known for asset protection courses, IRA investing, and lending among many other things (he was my favorite speaker because he was the most organized and easiest to follow). I will be attending more of his classes.

Gary Johnston - Not clear if he has a specialty based on this one conference. He was the orchestrator of this event and was an exceptional instructor on the mechanics of financial analysis and was very good at pulling all of the disparate subjects together. I will be attending more of his classes.

Each had their own experiences and advice. There were additional training materials available but they were not pitched and had zero pressure to purchase any of them.

As @Jay Hinrichs indicated many of these guys are Jack Miller disciples or colleagues.

I am of the same opinion of many among the bp community that 'gurus' are a big waste of money. But I do believe continually educating yourself is paramount to your continued success. This group of "teachers" are a wonderful resource if you choose to invest the time, money and energy. I have no relationship other than a consumer of the content. I intend to purchase and consume more of these events.

I am told the following speakers are also of the same category:

John Schaub - I am attending another course in late October he and Peter Fortunato are conducting. I have no prior experience with John other than reading his book.

David Tilney - No prior experience but cannot wait to attend his property management course next year.

If you are looking to grow or expand your investing career I argue you would have a hard time finding a better investment of time, money, and energy. You could certainly do a lot worse. In fact, Fortunebuilders was hosting one of their events next door during this event and we could hear the hype through the walls and they were hard pitching people in the hallways to spend ~$33K for their program. These are the 'gurus' that are a monumental waste of money.

Cheers!

Comment or message me if you'd like to hear more about what I learned in the training.
