New Investor From Tacoma

Good afternoon, (or whatever applies in your timezone!)

This is my first post, I have been listening to the podcast and reading about real estate investing for a little while now and decided now was the time to say hello! I am a law student in my second year and I recently started a company with a few friends that is aimed at investing in real property, as well as other assets.

I am from Tacoma/Spanaway, WA and that is where I would like to begin investing, specifically I am interested in long-term buy and hold deals. I would like to invest in small multi-family properties that need a bit of work so that I can build in some equity and potentially use the BRRRR strategy to acquire more.

My biggest question right now is how to work my way to becoming financeable with local banks/credit unions in the next 2-3 years. I have many more questions but for now I just want to say hello to other investors in my area!

Thanks for your time.
