Current Perspective on Leasing in Austin

We are seeing a slow down on the leasing side right now in Austin proper. I'm guessing it's the time of year was wondering if anyone is seeing the same thing. We have some properties that would have easily leased for $1700 a month last summer that we can get leased for $1550 right now. Time of the year is the problem?  TRE

@Lexi Teifke time of year from what I've seen. Summer months are hot and Dec-Feb/March ish not so much. That's why you see so many owners and listing agents doing everything they can to get 12 month leases signed in May-August. They do crazy things duirng other times of the year like refuse to lease at all at a lower price, or only offer short term leases.. kills vacancy rate and I would imagine their bottom dollar but hey, that's there prerogative.
