New to BP, looking to network and partner, need agents, brokers

Hey all,

So this is going to sound cliche...I just was introduced to BP and looking to connect and start investing and looking for deals and developing networks and partners. I'm an earl-30's family guy, financially stable and fully employed as an engineer here in town. Myself and a few peers have started chatting about this over beers and looking to finally make connections, along with a college friend from CA. My CA friend is a professional engineer in commercial structural engineering (partner/owner of his firm) and is looking to seriously invest outside of CA...He personally owns a dozen units around SoCal, but is talking about throwing around big $$  on 40+ units anywhere but SoCal. Myself and local friends are doctors and engineers that all work full time as well.

So, I'm not really sure how to start off this introduction other than this. I've started listening to the podcast and am ready to jump in and start making network connections and seeing where to start. I live in NW Austin (Balcones) and would love to meet and chat and see where this goes! Want to meet for a lunch or a beer?
