Is Houston a good market for shared housing (ie rent by room)?
This not a solicitation, more a gauge of interest in the shared space model in Houston MSA:
My name is Phillip Rogers and I am the Head of Supply for an extraordinary company -- PadSplit. PadSplit's mission is to compassionately and profitably improve affordable housing options in major urban cores. Our Company has grown tremendously in Atlanta over the last 2 years, and we are excited to be launching in Houston and Richmond, VA in Q3.
Interested to know from this group:
Is renting by room common in Houston?
Where are most shared houses located in the city?
What areas should be avoided?
Thankful and interested in any feedback!!

@Phillip Rogersgreat market, thats how I got started. But a 4 or 5 bedroom home in an older area of town. Advertise it properly and screen well and youll live for free without competing with other investors on the 2-4 units
