Wholesale advice for beginner

Hey everyone hope you guys are having a nice day, my name is Andrew & i'm 18 years old and just getting into real estate and with my criteria i've been told wholesaling is my best route to start on and I have done so much research and I finally think its time for me to take action and get some real world experience with it. I just cant seem how to get my first step taken, I am such a quick and fast learner and any second once I get my first deal done I can take off from there but thats the problem, I was wondering if you guys have any advice for me or have any opportunities for me as I heard sometimes doing a deal with someone can most definitely help you out and get a transaction under your belt to see how its done, I just need one opportunity to prove I actually can do all this at this age. So any advice or anything would greatly mean a lot, even willing to meet up with anyone if they have any opportunities or just want to talk with me. I am located in the Sugar Land area but willing to drive out to somewhere in Houston just to get a chance to speak with any of you people, thanks alot for your time have a great day!
