I'm looking to purchase rental property in safe area of Philadelphia such as Roxborough. Prefer property to be in move in condition or with minor updates.  If you can provide rental comps.

Hi @MonicaDiaz,

Welcome to BP!

The NW Area of Philadelphia including Roxborough have some great markets to buy rentals (Either 1-4 Units)

Some suggestions since I own in Roxborough;

*Find out what you pre-qualify for with a mortgage - this will determine your buying power

* Identify a real estate agent that is not just active but owns in the area (Transactional)

* The property should be close to transportation (Better renter)

Let me know if you have any questions.

Regards,
