Thoughts On Cleveland, OH Market
Hey BP world!
So lately, I have been considering some of the Ohio markets to invest in, as they provide some of the best cash flow in the country. However, many of the markets that I am considering have very high crime rates. I was wondering if anyone who invests in the Cleveland market could share how it has gone for them. When researching it, I found that 17 of the 29 zip codes in Cleveland have crime rates that are 2-4x the national average. How has this played a role in your buying criteria? Also, if you have any properties in the market, has this been an issue for you?
Thanks everyone!

Cleveland is one city in the Cleveland market, remember that. I'd imagine most metro areas have similar stats. There are ghetto's everywhere. Take a wider look at the market and the suburbs for the complete picture. Check out The Ultimate Guide to Grading Cleveland Neighborhoods to see what I mean.
