wood siding in lakewood, OH
I have a house in Lakewood, OH in the Cleveland area that needs some wood siding repair. There are spots that are starting to look old.
Couple of questions.
1. Does anyone have any good recommendations on companies that do wood siding? So far I have Sears doing an estimate Thursday and the smaller companies have not gotten back to me yet.
2. Should I just look at replacing the wood with vinyl siding for a more hassle free clean look?
Has anyone come across this decision? I know the vinyl siding will be much more but it might be worth it?

Vinyl also keeps you from potential lead based paint issues. If you are ever hit with a lead hazard citation & need to do a scrape & repaint using lead certified practices you are gonna pay a premium.
