New rent control law
Will decrease price ? Make investors to buy in other states ?

To a degree I would expect such a law to push out more investors. However, it's not like NYC went from a place that was great for investors to a place that was bad for investors. Landlord unfriendly to landlord unfriendlier.
I only like landlord friendly markets and that hasn't changed!
