Protecting Property During Renovation

Laticia Myers
Posted

Hello all! Any tips on how to secure my property during the renovation period? Most store bought systems out now utilize WiFi but the property doesn't have WiFi set up yet. I always take my valuable tools and equipment with me at the end of the day but I still worry about walking into the project the next morning and seeing my supplies cleared out. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

@Laticia Myers

Definitely make sure to cover the windows with paper on the inside, board the windows up, or put blinds in all the windows so people can't look in. Learned the hard way someone broke in the basement window and stole the copper piping in my rental. If you are looking for a security system, the best bet if there is no Wi-Fi might be simply safe really solid and they don't require Wi-Fi.
