Insurance Brokers (Flood)

Hi BP! Any good insurance brokers (especially flood) recommendations in the KC area? Looking at a multifamily near a flood zone, current flood insurance is around $7k a year according to the seller... wanted to double check to make sure that was right.

Potentially thinking of trying to get it rezoned as well but that may be a harder route...

Hmm..  the only "east creek" is way way out south and never touches the Missouri River. I wonder if you're talking about Line Creek (Its mis-id'd on a few maps), runs through Riverside (city name) and dumps into the MO River. That does flood but I wasn't aware of any housing even close to it. Its mostly commercial and reserved for recreation (trails, etc).
