Philadelphia Sheriff Tax Sale

Hi BP Community!

Can someone help me out and explain the difference between the Philadelphia tax collections sale and a Philadelphia tax delinquency sale?

Is the tax collections sale the same as a tax lien sale? Meaning I am purchasing the lien only. Or will I have access to the deed after the purchase?

I understand the right to redemption period. Just confused about the differences between these two sales.

I do not want to purchase access to a lien that I will then need to try to collect via foreclosure.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Jasmin
