Young and Trying to start HouseHacking

Hey Guys!

So I’m 22, have about $50,000 in cash and liquid assets like stocks, and live in Houston/Richmond Texas area. Wanted to hear what tips there are for me to try and start buying a property so I can house hack. I’ve been reading a lot of the BiggerPockets books and am inspired. I originally planned to live with my parents for awhile and save up as much as I can before buying a house. I also make about $16 an hour, $14.77 an hour after taxes.

Any advice is much appreciated!
