Whats the best way to remove old tile in a bathroom

Just finished an inspection on a triplex, all looks good for the most part, but the bathrooms need updating, mainly all the tile. One of the units has floor to ceiling tile in the entire bathroom. Is there a way to take out the tile and safe the plasterboard, or would it be better just to gut it all and install new drywall and tiles around the shower?
