Kitchen renovation or reclamation ideas

This will be a buy and hold duplex. I'll likely be going with the darker LVP in here with agreeable gray (or equivalent) and white trims. If you have product recommendations on those I'm open.

The cabinetry is kind of unique. For those of you that would paint it, give me some ideas and what youd recommend given my flooring and trim plans.

I've been told to get the adhesive covers for the countertops, that sounds kind of short term when I'd like to have the kitchen last for a while.

With some simple carpentry work you could turn those doors into shaker style. Paint them white. Switch out the hardware (black pulls are nice). I would get some granite that a yard has as scrap from another kitchen this usually brings down your price per sq. New SS appliances, and probably a new faucet. Paint the walls white as well. This kitchens looks to be a little tight so the light colors should open it up.
