hard knock rehab lessons

So a few days ago I noticed a little bulge in my 1st floor bedroom ceiling. Opened it up, found a cracked joist. i was alarmed, but wrote it off to maybe a waterbed upstairs or heavy piece of furniture dropped. today, I find three more in the basement. The joists sag too. The floors arent quite level. How this all escaped me and my inspector til now is beyond me. I'll take the blame for being way too giddy over my first deal and not looking hard enough.
It's not looking good for me. I may be facing a structural problem. On top of that I have an attached carport that I always suspected, but made it through inspection just fine, for me to get affirmation today it will need to be completely redone. Not only have I blown my rehab budget to shreds, but I'm probably facing leagl action towards my inspector. UGLY mess, let me tell you.
the stress is eating me alive. rehab reality for sure. Thank God that it seems that I also had no clue on my comps and they were about 20k under, so my mental anguish may be the only price I pay at the end of the day for my lack of experience. just a vent..
